Per Bend Azure and Argent an eight-pointed mullet of the First.
Christopher Southworth
When the new church was built in 1714, the commune fixed a cantonal shield onto the roof, adorned with an eight-pointed blue star in the white field. That was the origin of the communal emblem. The symbolism of the star isn't known anymore, and it could have different shades at certain times.
