Per bend Argent a Ploughshare Gules in bend and of the second a Sickle in
bend of the first handled Or.

Benken and Dachsen
are neighbouring communes with similar banners of arms. The commune of Dachsen
first adopted exactly the same blazon as Benken. They finally noticed that the
neighbouring municipality had these arms for 150 years and decided to change
them radically by replacing the blue by the red.
