The name "Nyon" comes from Celtic "Noviodunum". The ending "-dunum" means fortification, castle or fencing.
FC Stade-Nyonnais is the football club of the Town of Nyon (15,000
inhabitants) in Canton of Vaud (Switzerland). I have seen this flag recently
when a friendly match between Olympique de Marseille and Real Zaragossa was
organised by this club. Normally, the club played in Switzerland's third
division.
The flag is the same as the logo.
