The head on the flag of Curio is the one of a wolf after the nickname given to the inhabitants of this
commune.

[The emblem is referring to a not so old legend. In 1885 a wolf terrorized the village. The residents decided to hunt him down. But then a fire broke out in a house where a baby was sleeping. The wolf carried the baby out of the burning house (source)]
