In blue, on floating yellow nine-mountain (5/4) a striding yellow bear.
Until 1798, Schönholzerswilen belonged to the mountain court of the St. Gallen Abbey. The St. Gallen bear
above the mountain is the eloquent expression of this relationship. The colours yellow and blue go back to
the Lords of Wunnenberg, who lived in Schönholzerswilen.
