Split by blue with a white post, covered with a jointed blue castle tower with onion roof and by red
with a white wing (eagle).
Initially, the political municipality of Herdern used a logo instead of a coat of arms. In 2012, the
municipal council itself designed a flag/coat of arms that combines the coats of arms of Herdern and
Lanzenneunforn. The new emblem violates the heraldic colour rule.
