Christopher Southworth
Translated from the German blazon:
"Since 1944. In a golden field on a three-mountain a black tower with a
ringwall, flanked by two gates of entry. Cause of the design of a new coat of
arms was the oral tradition, that the place name meant: "at the
towers". For this design a reconstruction of an early medieval castle of
refuge was used on the edge of the castle with a tower and a double gate. The
colors remind of the former belonging to the region of Homburg."
Jarig Bakker, 6 January 2000
