Argent a Semi Ibex rampant Sable langued Gules and a Chief Vert.
The green field on both the flags of Niederried and
Oberried symbolizes the marsh (in German Ried), and its position
with regards to the ibex matches the villages names (nieder = lower,
ober = upper).
