image). White field charged with the vertical white letters IMBC on a red stripe

fouled with yellow rode, and a yellow star (6 units from hoist).
"The
club was founded under the name the Arichat Boat Club [and] was incorporated
under the name Isle Madame Boat Club [in 1986].” "Through the generosity of Clem
Boucher and his family and that of Virginia Garrison, land was donated and
assembled to create the IMBC. In addition, the old government wharf, part of the
site, was purchased from the Crown and functioned as a breakwater to protect the
first iteration of the marina."

Isle Madame is an Acadian community, and the yellow star must reflect that -
the yellow star on the French tricolour being the Acadian
flag.
