Eeyou Istchee James Bay Regional Government (French: Gouvernement régional
d’Eeyou Istchee Baie-James, Cree: ᐄᔨᔨᐤ ᐊᔅᒌ ᒉᐃᒥᔅ ᐯᐃ ᐊᔅᒌᐤ ᑎᐹᔨᐦᒋᒑᐎᓐ iiyiyiw aychii

(TE, territory equivalent to a regional county municipality), in Nord-du-Québec.
On January 1, 2014, following an accord signed on July 24, 2012 with the Cree,
the government of Québec abolished the local municipality of
Baie-James and created the local municipality of
Eeyou Istchee James Bay.
The territory comprises all lands of Jamésie minus
the four enclaved municipalities (Chibougamau, Lebel-sur-Quévillon, Chapais, and Matagami),
and eight of the nine Cree communities of the Eeyou Istchee TE (Chisasibi,
Eastmain, Oujé-Bougoumou, Mistissini, Nemask,
Waskaganish, Waswanipin Wemindji et Wemindji; the ninth one, Whapmagoostui, is
in Nunavik).
The territory includes three unconstituted localities: Radisson,
Valcanton, Villebois.

The flag is white with three images each showing a figure in silhouette: a
face in profile against a blue background, two flying geese against a red
background, and a spruce tree against a green background.

The logo
of the Regional Government depicts the Territory's people, nature and culture.
The three arcs reveal the outlines of a person's face, Canada geese in flight
and a conifer. The colours illustrate the diversity of the Territory—the people,
wildlife and vegetation that make this vast region vibrant.

The logo was designed by local artists Stéfanie Thompson and Stéphanie
Brousseau.
