The former Town of Cap-de-la-Madeleine was a separate municipality
within former MRC Francheville, in the Region of Mauricie, Quebec. However,
on 01.01.2002 the Town of Cap-de-la-Madeleine was merged into the Town of
Trois-Rivieres and MRC Francheville was dissolved. The Town of
Trois-Rivieres became independent town on MRC rights.

Ville de Cap-de-la-Madeleine (1918-2002):
Today part of the city of Trois-Rivières, I saw a rather complex flag in
the Summer of 1998.
Luc Baronian, 8 May 2005
Diagonally divided on a rising diagonal, red-white-blue with a white maple leaf on the red field, the arms on the white field, and a white fleur-de-lys on the blue field.
