The flag of the former village of Fergus, Ontario, was sourced from https://wcma.pastperfectonline.com/archive/2113F6F7-8849-4322-90D7-821531124923, an archive of municipal flags from the Wellington County Museum and Archives.
The flag is deep yellow with a rising green diagonal, over which is the
arms, bearing a white disk with purple rays above in the shape of a thistle,
in which is a cluster of three thistles and thistle leaves on either side.
The name FERGUS is in blue, and the motto Virtus Super Omnia
(Virtue over all) is written in script on a blue ribbon.
