The flag of the Village of Baker-Brook, New Brunswick, has a red background. On
its central position there are three irregular shaped images. The top one is
small blue, probably representing the sky over the village. The middle one is
big with a blue irregular line going from top to bottom, probably a local river,
flowing into the blue, probably the ocean. Left of the river is green with two
trees and red maple leaf, and the right side is pink with some plants and a red
flower on it. Between them on the river line is positioned a water mill saw. The
bottom irregular shape is grey with inscription "Vouloir c'est Pouvoir" in red
letters. On the upper half of the flag is the name of the municipality in white
"VILLAGE DE" on the left and "BAKER-BROOK" on the right.

Baker Brook was the seat of la republique americaine du Madawaska in
1827. You can find a detailed history of this in the New England Journal
of Vexillology Number 4, March 1997. A version of this is on the NEVA
