The District of Ucluelet flag was officially adopted by the Council in 2006; it depicts the Official Ucluelet emblem the Gray Whale which is representative of the beginning of spring in Ucluelet when the annual migration of these noble creatures passes by the shores of this Pacific coastal community. The background is the famous Ucluelet Lighthouse centre-piece of phase one of the Wild Pacific Trail.
