Lake Cowichan (pop. 2,948), is a town located on the east end of Cowichan Lake and, by highway, is 27 km west of Duncan, British Columbia.

The current flag is a Canadian pale of blue-yellow-blue with the shield from the arms centered. The shield is blazoned "Azure three chevronels tipped sapiné braced Or, in chief a steelhead trout naiant Argent".
The blue of the shield represents the lake. The chevrons allude to the forests on both sides of the lake and the harvest of which is an important component in the economy of this region. The trout is a reference to the fishing both in the lake and in the Cowichan River, recreations for which the community is famous.

The flag is Canadian triband, with three vertical stripes green-white-green in ratio 1:2:1, with town logo on the white stripe. Photo of the flag can be seen on Waymarking website. The town logo can be seen on the upper banner on the town's website.
