Lamont, Alberta (population: 1,692 ) is located 56 km East of the City of Edmonton.
This image is a bit dark due to the poor light conditions in the
office where this picture was taken. This flag seemed to me to have
been handmade since the details on it were sewn and not printed. As
well, there only seemed to be only one flag available in the town
administrative office. The golden rays of the sun extending along the
length of the flag reminds me of an Egyptian hieroglyphic.
