The Town of Onoway (population: 1036) is located in central Alberta, west of Edmonton.
The flag of the Town of Onoway features a residential building,
commercial building, grain elevators and water tower. Also depicted
on this flag is the town’s motto, “Hub of the Highways”. Near the
town’s boundaries, Highways 37 and 43 converge. The color green on a
white background reflects the agricultural basis of the local economy.
