On October, 20, 2005 by Decree number 490
by the President of the Republic of Belarus
adopted new symbols in the Region of Gomel (or the Gomel
Voblast') and including - the flag of Oktyabriesky Settlement.
The flag will consist of two equal vertical strips: a red at the staff,
and a yellow at fly edge.
In the center of the obverse (only on the obverse) of flag is coat of arms of Oktyabriesky Settlement.
The shield of coat of arms vertically divided into gold and red (gule).
In gold are three red fibers.
In red is princely crown above gold widened cross.
