Selebi-Pikwe is located in the Central District of Botswana. The main economic activity in the town is a nickel mine and smelter.
The municipal flag of Selebi-Pikwe (or Selebi Phikwe) has a brown background
with the council logo within a white disc in centre. The municipal motto,
"TSWELELOPELE KA MEEPO" is written in a scroll below in black capital letters.
