The flag of the Botswana Police Service consists of three horizontal stripes of maroon, gold and maroon with the police badge in the centre.
The badge is a lion's
head surrounded by a wreath with the motto "Botswana Police Service"
underneath. This is confirmed in
Michel Lupant's book, "Drapeaux et Insignes de Police dans le monde",
1993 (Fig. 64 on page 41).
