Lobatse is located in south-eastern Botswana, 70km south of the capital, Gaborone. The High Court of Botswana is located in the town as well as the headquarters of the Botswana Meat Commission.
The flag of the Lobatse Town Council has a white background with the
municipal arms in the centre, with "Lobatse Town Council" in black capital
letters below. The municipal motto in Setswana is "BONATLA BO BOPA
LETLOTLO" which literally translated means Everything Makes A Lot.
