29 December 2022Founded in 1927 as a subsidiary of Deutsche Lufthansa; nationalized in 1943
and renamed Serviços Aéreos Cruzeiro do Sul; merged with VARIG in 1993.
The flag was similar to that of Lufthansa, except that
the central disc was oval shaped, bearing the condor logo which looked very much
like that of SCADTA.
