The flag of Stara Zagora was adopted on 10 September 1996, after the design
of Hristo Tanev, and was "sanctified" on 02 March 1997. The badge on the obverse
is based on the coat of arms, while on the reverse contains "Az"
(meaning "I", phonetic value - "A".), the first letter of the most ancient
Bulgarian / Slav alphabet, the so-called Glagolitza. These images of the flag
are based on the pattern kept in the Stara Zagora Historical Museum. The ratio is
close to 2:3, but in use is 1:2 (as gonfalon).

The flag of Radnevo was adopted in 1999. I have not seen the flag, but according to the description of its author, Ivan Dimitrov, in the local issue (35 Years of the Town of Radnevo, 03-07 September 1999), the flag is formed by two equal stripes: white and green with the coat of arms on the white one, i.e. it is not clear whether the coat of arms is in the centre of the stripe or to the hoist.
