Various companies engaged in inland shipping, especially Dutch ones,
specialize in vessels' hulls being ordered in remote
countries, which are then outfitted locally. These hulls, called cascos, are either ordered by shipyards or directly by the customer.
A[medee] Van de Vijver B.V.B.A. is a Belgian company, located in Antwerp, also active
in this field as an agent, consultant, and importer. The company homepage shows the ties with a number of Asian countries. In addition to various inland vessels' hulls, pontoons and other specialized equipment (lock doors, bridges, etc.) are also offered as are completed ships and shipbuilding equipment. Scrapping can be arranged as well.

The house flag of Van de Vijver, as shown graphically on the company website, is green with a large yellow diamond not quite touching the edges of the flag, and a large, black serifed "V" in the centre, the upper part of which extends beyond the diamond.
On house flags, usually, such a letter remains neatly inside its lozenge, therefore a sighting or at least a photography of this item would be welcome.
