The Populari database claims that the coat of arms was adopted in 1995.
A "Conclusion", adopted on 27 July 2010 by the Municipal Council,
approved the "initiative" of a member of the Assembly "regarding the
correction of the layout of the coat of arms of the Municipality of
Goražde on documents, seals, flags etc. in accordance with the
original coat of arms the Assembly had adopted". A municipal office is
given the task to "consider possibilities for the realization of the
initiative". I guess that the coat of arms in use somehow differs from
the originally adopted design and that this was noticed and was to be
corrected.
