10:16 (web image). White field fimbriated blue on three sides and charged with a
blue St. George's cross centred 4 units from hoist and 4 units from upper fly
edge, with, on the wider horizontal arm, the white words LAUDERDALE YACHT CLUB.
The thinner upper vertical arm flanked with two white right-angled triangles
fimbriated blue, representing a yacht’s main and jib. The lower vertical arm
flanked with two blue right-angled triangles representing a yacht's hull.

“The
Lauderdale Yacht Club was originally a group of sailors casually sailing out of
Frederick Henry Bay with no clubhouse or any kind of facilities. The first races
were held in 1997. After a lot of negotiation with the Clarence City Council it
was agreed that the current location at Roaches beach would be used.”
