Description

Tin Can Bay is a small bay side town approximately 50 kilometers from Gympie and is situated at the gateway to the World Heritage listed Fraser Island which is the largest sand island in the world. The Tin Can Bay Yacht Club (TCBYC) was formed on 28 June 1981 by Carrie Noble, past Commodore of the Queensland Cruising Yacht Club, and a few others.

The burgee of TCBYC is red with a thin horizontal white stripe in the middle.
