The Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club (GLYC) is located on the foreshores of Paynesville, eastern Victoria. The Gippsland Lakes system is a network of lakes, marshes and lagoons covering an area of about 600 km sq.. The GLYC was founded on 10 January 1937.
The burgee of GLYC is shown on the club emblem as white with a red cross bordered in blue.
