The Budgewoi Sailing Club, founded in October 1972, is located on the beach on Lake Munmorah in Budgewoi, New South Wales. The club was founded by Ashley Chapman, first and only president of the club, still an active competitor. Aged today 88, Chapman was awarded in 2000 the Australian Sports Medal.
The burgee of Budgewoi Sailing Club is yellow with two orange triangles placed along the hoist.
