A New South Wales Cricket Association
(NSWCA) flag flies at the Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG) during
cricket matches. It features the NSWCA emblem (see the NSWCA site) on a
light blue background. The emblem is a shield, with a dark blue line forming the border, another blue
line running just inside and parallel to the border except at the top, the letters NSW intertwined at the top of the shield,
and beneath them the St George's cross and stars and lion of the New South Wales state badge,
surrounded by a dark blue border and with the dark blue letters C and A in the top two corners of the cross. In 1999-2001 I
observed a triangular version of this flag, but a picture
taken in January 2004 shows what could be a rectangular version of the same flag in the place I would expect to see it (the left
flagpole on the Ladies Stand).
