Bronwyn Coleman Sleep of the Kokatha Mula nation in western South Australia has been in touch with me about their people's new flag. She says that they are in the process of getting the design made up as a flag, and that there will probably be an official launch soon in Adelaide. The flag has an 'ochre' background, with a circular device in the centre. The device has a white background, a double line black border, and features the words "KOKATHA MULA NATION", a large black five pointed star, seven smaller stars forming the Pleiades and an Aboriginal man with a spear and a red headband and a woman with a yellow headband holding a child sitting in front of a fire.
