| Description of arms (German): | Ein roter, im Fuße mit einem grünen Rasenboden versehener Schild, durchzogen von einer gezinnten Stadtmauer, deren Toröffnung ein halbaufgezogenes eisernes Fallgatter aufweist. Die Mauer ist von zwei gezinnten und von je einem Fenster durchbrochenen Türmen überhöht. Mauer und Türme sind aus silberfarbenen, schwarz ausgefugten Quadern errichtet, über der Mauer schweben in der Mitte eine Kugel, rechts ein Winkelhaken und links eine Zange, alle drei eisenfarben dargestellt. Auf dem Hauptrande des von einer bronzefarbenen ornamentierten Einfassung umgebenen Schildes ruht eine silberne Mauerkrone mit fünf sichtbaren Zinnen. |
| Blazoning of arms (English): | Gules, on a base Vert a city wall embattled, the gate with a portcullis half-way up. Behind the wall two towers embattled with one window each. Wall and towers are Argent, masoned Sable. Over the wall in the center a plate, in dexter an angled hook and in sinister pliers, all three of Iron colour. The shield with an ornamented border of Bronze colour and a mural crown with five visible embattlements Argent. |
