Description of arms (German):	In Rot aus silberner vierzinniger Mauer mit dreizinnigem Torturm wachsend der heilige Paternianus in silbergefasstem blauem Mantel, gleicher Mitra und violettem Unterkleid, in der Linken ein offenes silbernes Buch, in der Rechten einen silbernen Bischofsstab haltend. Blazoning of arms:	Gules in base a city wall and gate tower embattled Argent masoned Sable then issuant therefrom Saint Paternianus Proper with cope and mitre Azure garnished of the Second and an alb Purpure holding an open book to sinister and a crozier to dexter both also of the Second.
