Description of arms (German):	Über blauem Schild mit fünf (3:2) goldenen Lilien im goldenen Schildhaupt durchlaufend ein blauer Fries von abwechselnd aufwärts und abwärts gekehrten Herzen mit eingeschriebenen Lilien. [1]
Blazoning of arms:	Azure five fleurs-de-lis (3, 2) Or and on a chief of this Last a frieze of voided alternating erect and reversed hearts of the First conjoined with fleurs-de-lis of the Same. (Christopher Southworth)

Afritz became part of an enlarged municipality Feld am See in 1973, becoming independent again 1991. The old municipality Afritz had own arms and flag (since 1960).
