Zicksee is the lake about 2 km west of the village.
Until recently there were two kinds of flags in use: with blue-yellow background and with white background
(photo). According the municipal administration, today (2026) the
white flags have been abolished and only blue-yellow flags are in use.

The arms are canting with the St Andrew crosses.
By resolution of 14 July 1982, the Burgenland Provincial Government granted the municipality of St. Andrä
bei Frauenkirchen the right to bear this coat of arms: "Quartered shield: 1 and 4: a blue St Andrew's
cross on a golden field; 2 and 3: three golden cattails on a blue field."
At the same time, St. Andrä bei Frauenkirchen was renamed St. Andrä am Zicksee.
