By a resolution of the Burgenland Provincial Government dated 13 June 2000, the municipality was
granted the right to bear a coat of arms, following its application.
Description: On a gold shield, a red pale flanked by a red lily on either
side (one in front and one behind); the pale is topped with a golden pillory.
The two lilies symbolise the coat of arms of the Counts of Poth, during whose reign the town was founded in
the 13th century. The name of the counts lives on to this day in the town's name ("Poths Neusiedl").

symbolises the municipality's independence and serves as a reminder of the town's significance, having held
market rights in the 18th century. The municipality's colours are red and yellow/gold, and these are
reflected in the coat of arms.
