Sociedad Anónima Importadora y Exportadora de la Patagonia originated
in 1908 as Sociedad Anónima de Importación y Exportación de la
Patagonia, Menéndez, Braun, Blanchard y Cía. Ltda. as a joint venture
formed by the Chilean companies Sociedad Ganadera y Comercial
Menéndez-Behety and Braun & Blanchard, presumably based then in Chile
but moving to Buenos Aires in 1918 and they are shown in Lloyds up
until the mid 1970s.

Their flag was yellow with a red saltire between the black letters "SYEP" [see image].
