Chaiu-Do-Kwan is a martial art created in the 1970s by Argentines of
Korean origin; Chaiu Do Kwan means "The School of the Free Way" in
Korean.
The Instituto Argentino de Chaiu-Do-Kwan (Chaiu-Do-Kwan Argentinian
Institute) was founded on 1 June 1986 by the masters Hugo Chaparro and
Ricardo Rodríguez. Its main seat is located in Ituzaingó, with 12
branches all over the country.

The flag of the Instituto Argentino de Chaiu-Do-Kwan, unveiled on 9
July 2010, was designed for the celebration of the 24th anniversary of
the foundation of the institute. The flag is white with the
institute's emblem in the middle. The name of the branch is
embroidered on a ribbon attached to the flag.
The emblem of the Instituto Argentino de Chaiu-Do-Kwan is a white disk
charged with a hand holding a stick placed horizontally and two
daggers crossed per saltire, all red except the dagger's hilts, which
are black. The name of the institute is written in black capital
letters around the inner border of the emblem.
