Villa Clara

[Victoria flag] image located by Daniel Rentería, 1 October 2022

Seen in villaclaraer.wordpress.com is the flag of Villa Clara. I've translated the description, which in English reads:

"In the creation of the flag of Villa Clara, the flag's designer was inspired by the area's history since the arrival of immigrants to the area. The green is a symbol of hope of the immigrants, while the red symbolizes the love put in populating and planting these lands.

In the upper part of the shield, there is a shovel and a rake, while in the lower part of the shield, there is a plow, which represents the first tools used to till the land. In the sides of the shield is wheat and corn, the main source of the area's wealth. Finally, in the center, there is a straw ranch, which is the first home built by immigrants, and the railway is a symbol of the progress that came to this town, which projects the town towards a future of greatness."
