BARADERO PRESENTED ITS FLAG
Last year we began to study the idea of
creating our own flag for our city, which achieves a necessary identification
for the oldest community in the Province of Buenos Aires.
The design made by the student Agustina Barabino was chosen.
Finally, in the Honorable Deliberative Council, the official presentation of
the flag was carried out and one was delivered to each educational entity in the
city, as well as a ceremonial flag for the Office of the Municipal Executive
Power and another for the Presidency of the Honorable Deliberative Council.
The act was headed by the mayor, Fernanda Antonijevic; the president of the HCD,
Martín Cárdenas, the chief district inspector, Walter Mandel, the manager of the
Ingredion plant and other company authorities, who contributed the resources for
the manufacture of the flag.
The communal chief, when speaking, stated: “It
is a pleasure, a joy to be at this moment. Last year, within the framework of
400 years, we realized that Baradero did not have its own flag, we needed one to
identify us, for that we thank Agustina, who with the help of her grandmother
also created the flag”
