The municipality of Ambriz is located in Bengo Province, northern
Angola on the Atlantic coast.

Ambriz - former municipal Arms and flag
Ambriz was officially designated the
Council of Ambriz (Concelho do Ambriz). Prior to independence it was part
of the District of Luanda. It's colonial symbols were approved by the Portuguese
Ministry of Overseas Territories and published on 15 March 1962.
The colonial municipal Arms comprised a field of silver, with two wavy bands of green in tip, a barge of black Dressed in red. At the head is a tower of red, carved in black, between two salt shakers in blue enriched with gold.

The flag was quartered black and red, with the Arms in the centre. Cords and
tassel in the same colours.
