financial growth and the balance payment. Moreover, policymaking,
operationalization, and regulation of the extractive sector for an effective,
efficient and sustainable use for the national economic growth constitute the
mission of MoMP. It dates back as far as 1841, when "British troops searched to
find the exporting mineral resources that were used as trade for industrial
products in England".

inscription in Pashto on the top border outline and in English in the bottom
border outline. In the outer border it reads in Pashto "د افغانستان اسلامي
امارت" (English: Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan).
