The Independent Commission for overseeing the implementation of the
Constitution is established in accordance with article 157 of the Afghanistan
Constitution as the supreme organ for overseeing the implementation and
observation of Constitution provisions by President, the Government, the
National Assembly, the Judiciary, NGOs, Institutions, Governmental and
Non-Governmental organizations.
The Law on the Independent Commission for
Overseeing the Implementation of the Constitution entered into force on 9/4/1388
(June 30, 2009).
The flag of the Commission is blue with emblem in gold:
