Introduction: Nottingham Forest Football Club

Nottingham Forest Football Club is an English Association Football club based in West Bridgford, Nottingham. It was founded on 1865 ( source #1) and (source #2)
For additional information go to their official website: Nottingham Forest Football Club.
Esteban Rivera, 9 January 2012

The team logo is available at Krysstal: Football: Nottingham Forest; it consists of a stylized tree underneath which are three wavy lines, supposedly representing the River Trent, and the word "Forest" in an artistic upper/lower case script. The logo is in red on a white background, and the unofficial club flag is the same except that it is centred on a white rectangle.
Ron Lahav, 4 July 2005

The Nottingham Forest FC have played home matches at the City Ground since 1898. They currently compete in the EFL Championship, the second tier of the English football league system.
They are often referred to by fans as "Forest", "The Reds", or even "Tricky Trees" but never "Notts" (a different team and place). Between 2007-2015 the team mascot had been a Robin Hood caricature, but after 2015 replaced by a bear mascot wearing a Forest uniform and a Robin Hood hat. The old Robin Hood character seemed to have returned in 2020.

Fan Flags

There are multiple fan flag designs for "The Forest", both official and unofficial on the market. Many are one of a kind designed for particular matches, opponents, or tournaments. The club is 155 year-old and that generates a lot of flags: here are some recent examples:

The second image is based on this photo.

Not sure about this first one, it was posted as a Nottingham Forest flag, but I have been unable to locate a "proof of use" photo of it.
The second one is a complete departure from the usual red and white team motif with its blue star pattern background. It is currently on the market being sold in the United States. I have not seen it used in the UK.

The image is based on this photo taken at World Cup South Africa.

This Nottingham Forest flag made it all the way to South Africa in 2006 for the World Cup. These loyal Reds fans had made the trip to show support for the England's team.
