The local parliament of the district Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf adopted the flag and the coat-of-arms on 5th July 2000. The final approval from the Department of the Interior of Berlin (Senatsinnenverwaltung von Berlin) is still missing (but is certainly expected). Source: Berliner Morgenpost gazette, 6 July 2000.
