"It was confirmed in July, 12th, 2007 by the decision of region council session. Gules; sentry tower argent accompanied at the dexter chief by sun or, at the sinister chief by paty cross argent. The authors are V.Maksymchuk, V.Konoval.
The tower is symbol of most ancient architectural building, which was constructed in the Balanivka village in XVII century. The sun and cross are symbols of Podillya and Volyn', old Ukrainian lands, where is territory of modern region.
