The commune's homepage is the only one among the Silves communes displaying only a logo. Hence the commune seems to have no proper flag and uses instead either a logo flag or the flag of Silves Municipality.
Logo:
White with red embattled castle, i.e. one wall and one tower and an uncomplete red circle rising from the tower, the castle superimposed by a stylized inscription "Silves" in counterchenged colours, and beneath a smaller red, stylized inscription "Junta de Freguesia"

Silves Commune is one of the six communes of Silves Municipality, It had 11 014 inhabitants in 2011 covering 177,45 km².
