The flag of Hapcheon-gun county symbolizes the strong will of Hapcheon people to powerfully leap into the future on the basis of harmony and unification as well as our futuristic vision.

[red symbol] Symbolizing the rising sun to signify the bright future of Hapcheon as well as the passionate spirit of our people.

[blue wave] Symbolizing the clean water of Hapcheon, such as Hwang River and Hapcheon Lake, which possesses powerful spirit.

[green oval] Symbolizing the strong potential of Hapcheon to advance into the infinite future against the backdrop of green mountains of Mt. Gaya as well as Mt. Hwangmae and fertile land.
