"GONFALONE - Drappo d'azzurro ornato di ricami d'argento e caricato dello stemma sopra descritto con l'iscrizione centrata in argento: Comune di Castelfranco di Sotto (Decreto del Capo del Governo in data 9 dicembre 1930).
Le insegne pontificie riprodotte nello scudo si riferiscono a San Pietro, patrono della chiesa di Vigesimo. Le quattro croci indicano le comunità limitrofe a Castelfranco che formarono con esso una lega: Santa Barbara, San Martino a Catiano, San Bartolomeo in Paterno e San Michele a Caproniano."
