UDB is a leftist nationalist movement founded in 1964. It never adopted an official flag but non-official flags were often seen during demonstrations, as reported by P. Rault (Les drapeaux bretons de 1188 à nos jours) [rau98].
In 1972 in Nantes, the flag of UDB was red with a Gwenn-ha-Du in canton.
More recently, the former badge of UDB (white letters in a black disc) was added at fly.

The flag of the Breton Communist Party, as reported by P. Rault (Les drapeaux bretons de 1188 à nos jours) [rau98], was a Gwenn-ha-Du with a red five-pointed star replacing the ermines in the white canton.
